1. Introduction

Welcome to the Episteme Eidōlon Testnet ("we," "our," "us"). Eidōlon is an experimental version of the Episteme platform that enables users to explore and test features prior to the mainnet launch. By accessing or using the Eidōlon Testnet, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Testnet.

2. Testnet-Only Environment

  • The Testnet is for testing and demonstration purposes only.
  • Tokens, balances, and transactions have no real-world value.
  • All data, accounts, and markets may be reset or deleted without notice.
  • Performance, uptime, and accuracy are not guaranteed.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction.
  • Comply with all applicable laws.
  • Do not use the Testnet if you are prohibited from participating in blockchain or prediction markets under your local regulations.

4. Experimental Features & AI Resolution

  • AI oracles are in prototype stage; results may be inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Disputes on the Testnet may be resolved manually or left unresolved.
  • Functionality may differ significantly from the future mainnet version.

5. No Financial or Scientific Advice

  • Testnet activity does not represent financial investment, real staking, actual research funding.
  • Market prices and outcomes do not constitute scientific validation or consensus.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for malicious purposes.
  • Misrepresent Eidōlon Testnet results as mainnet or real-world outcomes.
  • Attempt to trade Testnet tokens for real-world assets.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain rights to hypotheses and content you submit.
  • By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use them for testing, demonstration, and development.

8. Risks

Participation in the Eidōlon Testnet may involve:

  • Loss of test assets due to resets or errors.
  • Exposure to unstable code and experimental AI systems.
  • Inaccurate or misleading market results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from your Eidōlon Testnet use.
  • The Testnet is provided "as is" without warranties.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Eidōlon Testnet at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
